ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
Description:
"Help Doomguy and his beloved puppy, Imelda Barkos, take care of the demons overrunning the local dog park. They're not just the spawns of hell–they're terrible neighbors!"
For DEMONS IN THE DOG PARK, I decided to take the contest's theme as an opportunity to reflect on my own upcoming 9-year Doomiversary. Most of the assets here come from my first Doom project, Doomguy Gets a Puppy, and my own photos in and around Ridgewood in NYC, where I was living with my girlfriend (now wife) at the time. That summer of 2017 was also when I made my map for The Joy of Mapping 4, which was instrumental in plugging me into the general Doom community and sending me down the creative path I'm on today. Thanks for the memories, Jimmy, and happy Two Decades!
